FOR the WORKING CLASS
Workers built this state. It’s time for us to run it.
Brittany Kubicek is an independent socialist running for the General Assembly to fight for the people of House District 5 and all of Rhode Island.
The Issues
The status quo hasn’t delivered for the vast majority of Rhode Islanders. It’s time for the working class to own and control the wealth we produce!
Housing
A statewide rent freeze and affordable, public owned housing.
Healthcare
Quality care for all Rhode Islanders, free at the point of service
Power in the Workplace
$30 minimum wage, freedom to unionize, right to strike
Energy and Infrastructure
Public takeover of Rhode Island Energy
Full funding for RIPTA and public transportation
We need a party for the working class.
Rhode Island’s political establishment has left working people behind. Both Democrats and Republicans pass laws to protect corporations while we struggle to afford housing, medical care, and basic necessities.
It’s time for a change.
When workers unite, we have the power take the economy into our own hands and create a government that serves human needs instead of private profits.
The Rhode Island chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America is building an alternative to the two-party status quo. We’re run democratically by our members and funded by dues, not corporate donors or foundation money.
